Lauren Cavanaugh – (Artistic Director/Co-Producer) Lauren recently directed and co-wrote “Land of the Babydolls” at the Nicu’s Spoon Theatre and directed “The Atheist’s Daughter” by Danielle Newell for Bohemian Benders, China Club, NYC. Her short play “Honey & Candy” is being produced by the Gallery Players as part of their 2009 summer play festival. “Nunchuck Ninja Nuns”, her original play was produced with the Thirteenth Street Repertory Company in 2008. She has been a teaching artist in New York, with Wingspan Arts, Periwinkle Theatre Company, and Arts To Grow. As an actress, she was an A Team member of the improv troupe Revolution Improv; and has performed at Imrov!, The Cutting Room, and the Thirteenth Street Repertory Company. She received her MA in Educational Theatre at the Steinhardt School, NYU and her BFA in Musical Theatre Performance from The Hartt School, University of Hartford.
Phil Newsom – (Co-Producer/Founding Member). In 2004, Phil was the Executive Director of Paper Cat Theatre Company, and was a teaching artist/Program Director for Colorado Educational Theatre for 8 years. He was the co-producer and co-writer for the feature film "The Monument" which won first place at the Huantcon amateur film festival. He is currently teaching theatre in Brooklyn for "Young Dancers in Repertory". Phil is a member of SAG and has worked as an actor on shows such as “Ugly Betty”, "Busted" for Animal Planet, "Taken Chance" for HBO and "Law and Order". He is extremely excited to be involved in the groundbreaking of Zenbaby Theatre!

Krsnaa Fitch – (Founding Member) No stranger to travel, Krsnaa is originally from Detroit, Salem OH, PA, FL, Oxford UK, DC, and NYC. She's the youngest of four, and her family has been compared to the Von Trapp's. As an actress, Krsnaa’s film credits include Law & Order, Open, Proud Iza, and Abhay Charan. She played the Miller’s Daughter at the 13th Street Repertory Co, in Rumple Who?, which she also directed. She was a cast member in the reading of Nunchuck Ninja Nuns by Lauren Cavanaugh, at the 13th Street Repertory Co. She portrayed Carla in Cause & Defect at Theater Studio Inc. She graduated from American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York, NY. She studies Classical South Indian Dance (Bharatnatyam), singing in Bengali and Sanskrit along with being of the Hare Krishna faith. She's immensely excited to be part of the fantastic fatasmagoria called Zenbaby Theater Company.
Danielle Marie Newell – (Playwright/Actress/Founding Member) Danielle has been a model at the China Club and a New York City based actress. She wrote and produced The Atheist's Daughter, which was premiered at the China Club for their Bohemian Benders Festival. She cannot wait to develop new projects as a Founding Member of Zenbaby Theatre.
Julie Gragert – (Singer/Songwriter/Founding Member) Julie graduated cum laude from Lincoln University in Jefferson City, MO with a Bachelor of Science in Sacred Music, (Vocal Emphasis).  She had the honor of performing a solo for 1984 Nobel Peace Prize winner, Bishop Desmond Tutu in 2000 in St. Louis, MO.  She has also performed, as a chorus soprano, "Handel's Messiah" at Carnegie Hall in November 2001.  Proficient in guitar, more recently, Julie has written and performed her own original songs for Zenbaby Theatre Company’s "Naughty or Nice Cabaret".  Julie is enthusiastic and dedicated to developing her creative expression through singing and acting with Zenbaby Theatre Company.
